SPRING RETREAT

The Writer’s Sanctuary: Make Your Own Magic!
Crafting the Career of Your Dreams

What does your writing career look like right now? Is it the dream you always wanted (swoon!)? Are you still waiting for your happily-ever-after (sigh)? Or maybe you’ve experienced both but are worried whether your future books will even be invited back to the ball? Whether multi-published or new to writing, authors often find themselves living with the uncomfortable sense that they’re still trying to find, earn, or keep their place in the publishing world. And at some point, that constant striving dims our creativity. But what if you had a magic wand that gave YOU control over things? What would you change? Because the truth is - you have far more control than you imagine. So here’s your invitation to GRAB THE MAGIC and make it your own. Let us help you break from the busyness and take a deep breath as we dive in to honestly assess (1) where your career is at, (2) where you need it to be, (3) what is and isn’t working (and why), and to (4) help you craft a unique-to-you plan to get it there. Come spend 4 days soaking in a magical educational, writing, and brainstorming experience that’s focused on revolutionizing your writing career and equipping you with tools for less striving and more long-term success. Join bestselling authors C.J. Redwine and Mary Weber for a gorgeous California coastal getaway at the “Make Your Own Magic” Retreat - to explore what you need, personally and professionally, to find career joy for the long haul. Now’s the time to treat yourself and give your career - and heart - the happily-ever-laughter support it’s just maybe been missing.

Speakers: C.J. Redwine and Mary Weber

C.J. Redwine is the New York Times bestselling author of YA fantasy novels, including the Ravenspire series of fairytale retellings and the Defiance trilogy. She’s still waiting for her letter from Hogwart’s. Currently, she lives in Nashville with her husband, five children, three pets, and a wardrobe that stubbornly refuses to lead to Narnia, no matter how many times she tries.

Mary Weber is the bestselling HarperCollins author of six books, including the Storm Siren Trilogy, The Evaporation of Sofi Snow series, and the March 2019 education-power release, To Best the Boys. In her spare time, Mary sings 80’s hairband songs to her three muggle children, and ogles her husband who looks strikingly like Wolverine. They live in a mobile home in California, which is perfect for stalking aging superstars while wearing fannypacks and sweatpants. Aside from her stories, Mary’s written for The Huffington Post and Hallmark, as well as a fun interview in the paperback of Marissa Meyer’s NYT bestselling CRESS. To join in on her latest shenanigans or get writing and marketing tips, visit her Newsletter @ MaryWeber.com {She's also on Instagram: @maryweberauthor & Facebook: MaryWeber, Author}
