Writer’s Sanctuary Code of Conduct The Writer’s Sanctuary Retreat and The Writer’s Sanctuary are dedicated to an experience that is free from discrimination and harassment for every person. Location: North Myrtle Beach, SC. Attendees are encouraged to reserve a condo in the same resort as the retreat condo or in one close by.
*All attendees must reserve their own lodging. The retreat condo will be open to attendees from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily with breakfast, lunch, and dessert provided. Attendees are welcome to come for meals, workshops, and writing sprints and are also welcome to use the condo’s balcony, living space, or tables for writing throughout the rest of the day. Coffee, tea, water, chocolate, and fruit will be available all day.

6:00 p.m. Icebreaker Meet & Greet at retreat condo. Hor d’oeuvres, dessert, and drinks will be served.

10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Workshop: Developing an Idea Into a Story (How to take something you love and build it into something that sells.)

5:00 p.m. Medieval Times night! Join us as we attend a medieval feast, cheer on our champion as he jousts against the other knights of the realm, and enjoy a night of camaraderie and cheer. (Optional activity. Attendees will be invoiced separately for the ticket cost of $56.)

Additional options:
Attendees may opt to purchase a 20 minute mentoring appointment with C.J. for $35. This is your chance to work with C.J. on creating a plan to reach your career goals, having her assess your social media platforms and give suggestions on how to maximize your efforts, use her as a sounding board for your questions about your individual publishing journey, and more!
Cost:
$550 registration fee gives you access to the retreat condo and all activities* from 6:00 p.m to 10:00 p.m. on 9/30/20 and from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. 10/1/20 - 10/3/20.
*Mentorship appointments and the optional dinner theater trip to Medieval Times will be invoiced separately
REGISTRATION:
Use the Fall 2020 Retreat Paypal button on the sidebar to pay your $200 non-refundable deposit. The remaining balance will be broken up into 5 payments of $70 to be invoiced monthly via Paypal.
Once you’ve paid your deposit, fill out the registration form below. (If the retreat is currently sold out, click the link at the bottom of the page to be put on the wait list for this retreat and to get preferential registration for other 2020 events.)
